| The
delights of a holiday home in Germany
From north
to south, Germany offers cultural values,
fascinating countryside and all types of
attractions. It is possible to wander for
hours, either along the rugged Baltic
coast, or in the enchanting green forests
which are so desolate, you can walk and
walk and never meet a soul. Of course, you
can also enjoy the pulsating life of the
city in, e.g. Berlin, visit the famous
Semperopera in Dresden or walk through the
enchanting Sanssouci Park.
Germany is
a destination with many sights worth
seeing. Protected buildings, museums and
art collections, gardens and theatres are
all attractive places for excursions. At
county fairs, wine weeks and other town
fairs there is a wealth of opportunities
to experience the hospitality and the
renowned friendliness of the German
people.
Wide,
fine-grained, sandy beaches are not only
found in the southern hemispheres. The
German coastline also has a holiday
atmosphere. The small bathing towns, the
splendid beaches and the sea, which is
much sought after, make the Baltic Region
a delightful holiday destination. Enjoy
the fresh sea air which, combined with the
sound of the roaring breakers, is balm for
the soul.
The
lakeland area around Mecklenburg is much
visited. Excursions into the countryside
and to idyllic, small towns provide plenty
of opportunities to get away from a hectic
everyday life.
In the dense forests of Thuringen, or in
the bizarre Elbsandstein mountains, you
can also relax, breath in the fresh air
and enjoy the smell of toadstools and
moss.
It doesn't
matter whether you choose to walk through
the beautiful autumnal forest, visit a
witch from Bloksbjerg in Harzen or wander
through the shopping precincts of the big
towns, a holiday in Germany will
undoubtedly be an unforgettable
experience.
